Phifer Homes exists to build thoughtfully designed and intelligently crafted hyper-performance homes in Colorado by building relationships with clients, architects, designers, consultants, suppliers, and subcontractors who value resourcefulness, efficiency, comfort, and superior craftsmanship. We love what we do, and believe our collaborative passion, knowledge, and relentless attention to detail will evoke the home you’ve always wanted.

Jared Phifer started as a carpenter in 2005. With a critical eye for detail, passion for design, he is always improving his craft, expanding his knowledge, and relentlessly pursuing a better way to design-build custom homes. He and his wife, Amber have designed and built homes all over Denver, the front range and mountains. Tune into “Idea House: Mountain Modern” on The Roku Channel to see them in action.

As a Certified Passive House Tradesperson (a rigorous building standard in Germany) he believes there is neglected efficiency in current code-built homes, and understands the additional steps required to acquire the highest performing, and healthiest home possible.

When Amber and Jared are not designing and building they are serving at their local church, writing music, hiking with the family or fly-fishing on a river somewhere in the mountains.
